Currency Magic allows your store to display prices in multiple currencies. Customers to your site can simply pick the desired currency from a menu, and your entire Miva store will instantly start displaying all prices in that form! Exchange rates can be entered manually, or retrieved automatically from an on-line server. You can configure the module to retrieve exchange rates from many different servers. Upon installation, the module is preset to use Yahoo.com. The documentation includes settings for several other public currency-converter sites, and explains how to create your own settings for other servers. Flexible formatting includes international punctuation selectable for each currency, and customized display of negative numbers. Advanced HTML and CSS formatting can be used, with plain text provided for emails and other unformatted displays. Supports OpenTokens for easy installation in all template systems. Compatible with all user interfaces (MMUI, OpenUI, templates).
Currency Magic is available for both compiled and uncompiled Miva Merchant. It does not require OpenUI, but it can use OpenUI tokens if they are available in your store. It is also compatible with the template systems from Copernicus and Viking Coders. If your store does not have any of these features (uses the standard Miva MMUI), you can still use Currency Magic.

Upsale Magic provides a discount function that allows you to set up many different variations on the idea of, "buy X, get a special price on Y." As you probably know, Miva Merchant has a built-in "upsale" feature, but many users find it too limited for their needs. Upsale Magic overcomes a major limitation by allowing you to inform customers of the discount while they are shopping, instead of waiting till they check out. The module's essential features are: - Both "X" and "Y" can be a single product, or a list of products; or the discount can apply to all products in one or more categories.
- The discount can be set to offer a dollar amount, a percentage, or an alternate price for the item.
- You can optionally set a limit on the number of "Y" items for which the discount will apply.
- Messages describing the discounts are displayed to the customer as soon as they view any product for which a discount is available. Module settings allow you to customize the message text and HTML formatting.
- The location of the discount messages can be specified by using tokens for OpenUI or for template modules.

This module allows your Miva Merchant store to request additional information from customers during checkout. You can display up to five different text boxes or checkboxes on any one of the three checkout screens. These can be used to collect information such as special instructions for the order, a message for a greeting card, newsletter request, etc. 
After the customer enters their information, it is displayed on each subsequent checkout screen, so that the customer gets instant confirmation of what they entered. 
The messages are also included in the notification emails to both the customer and merchant; and they are also saved in a database. The module's Order View screen allows you to view this database, so that you have a way to save and confirm a customer's messages in case any emails are lost. 
For text boxes, you can specify each box's size, as well as the text prompt that appears above it, and the maximum and minimum length for the customer's entry. For checkboxes, you can specify the text prompt, the position of the check box (left or right of the prompt), and whether it defaults to checked or unchecked. 
HTML templates and tokens are used to give you plenty of flexibility about how the messages are displayed: you can tailor their "look" to match the rest of your store.

Checkout This provides a way for you to display important information to your customers during the checkout process. You define one or more messages that can be triggered by various conditions of the customer's purchase. The messages are displayed on a separate page, and the user must click the Continue button to proceed with checkout. You can assign messages to be triggered by: - Type of shipping
- Type of payment
- Specific product in basket
- Product from specific category in basket
- Customized conditions using OpenUI tokens
- Combinations of all the above
You can customize the HTML layout of the page, as well as the individual messages. You can also customize the Continue button, or remove it entirely to create a "dead end" page that will prevent customers from completing their purchase. As an optional feature, you can collect additional information from your customers, by displaying a text box, checkbox, or drop-down menu with any message.
